Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy explains how we ship your orders, the costs, timelines, risk, and your rights under South African law (especially the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) 68 of 2008, and Electronic Communications & Transactions Act (ECTA), as applicable). By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms below.

1. Domestic Shipping (Within South Africa)

  1. Processing Time

    • Orders are processed within [3–7] business days after payment confirmation, unless otherwise noted.

    • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will begin processing the next business day.

  2. Shipping Methods & Carriers

    • We use reputable couriers such as Aramex, Fedex, DSV and PEP for delivery.

    • You may have options for standard or express delivery at checkout depending on your location.

  3. Shipping Costs

    • Shipping cost is calculated at checkout, based on weight, size, and delivery address.

    • Free shipping is available for orders over [R 500] before VAT has been determined.

    • For orders below that threshold, the fee is added extra which is linked to the courier.

  4. Delivery Timeframes

    • Estimated delivery to major city centres:  3-10 business days.

    • Delivery to more remote or rural areas may take up to 7-10 business days, depending on courier.

    • These are estimates; delays can happen (weather, courier service disruptions, or other unforeseen events).

 

2. International Shipping (If Applicable)

  1. Availability

    • We currently ship internationally via Fedex, Amazon and DSV.

  2. Customs, Duties & Taxes

    • Customers are responsible for any customs/import duties, VAT, or any other fees incurred upon entry to their country.

    • We will not be liable for delays caused by customs clearance processes.

  3. Shipping Costs & Delivery Time

    • International shipping cost is based on weight, dimensions, destination, and shipping speed.

    • Estimated delivery times will be provided at checkout or communicated after order placement: [e.g. 7-21 business days] depending on destination and service.

 

3. Risk & Title

  • Risk (loss or damage) passes to you when the goods are delivered to the address you provided or when accepted at the nominated delivery point.

  • Ownership (title) passes to you once we have received full payment for the order.

 

4. Tracking & Notifications

  • Once your order has shipped, we will send you a tracking number / shipment notification.

  • You can track your package via a link provided.

  • If you do not receive a tracking update within 48 hours of dispatch, please contact us via email.

 

5. Failure to Deliver / Incorrect Address

  • It is your responsibility to provide a correct shipping address. We are not liable for delays, non-delivery, or mis-delivery resulting from incorrect or incomplete address details provided at checkout.

  • If delivery fails due to no one being available or incorrect address, we may attempt a re-delivery or you may need to pick up from a local depot / courier branch.

  • Additional fees may apply for redelivery or return to sender.

 

6. Lost, Damaged, or Defective Items

  • If you receive goods that are damaged, defective or not as described, please notify us within 1 day of receipt. Include photo evidence.

  • We will arrange for replacement, refund, or repair in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (Section 56 re: implied warranty) and our Returns Policy.

  • We may require you to return the defective item (in its original packaging if possible). We will cover return shipping if the item is confirmed faulty.

 

7. Delays & Communication

  • We strive to meet delivery timeframes, but delays may occur because of courier issues, weather, or other external factors.

  • If there is an unavoidable delay, we will inform you as soon as possible and provide an updated delivery estimate.

  • If delivery is delayed beyond [specified cutoff period, for example 30 calendar days], you have the right under South African law to cancel the order and receive a full refund. This is in line with obligations under the CPA. Law For All+2Acts Online+2

 

8. Returns & Exchanges Related to Shipping

  • If the wrong product was shipped, or a product is missing, we will arrange for return or exchange at no additional shipping cost to you.

  • If you wish to exchange for size / variant, the process will be handled as per our Return Policy.

  • If you refuse delivery for any reason, or if a package is returned to us because of your actions (incorrect address, incomplete address, failure to collect), shipping fees (outbound + return) or restocking fees may apply before any refund or exchange.

 

9. Legal Compliance

  • All shipments comply with South African laws/regulations, including CPA (Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008), ECTA (Electronic Communications & Transactions Act), and any relevant postal/courier regulations.

  • We will not engage in misleading or unfair shipping practices. Information about shipping cost, delivery times, and risk will be clearly disclosed before purchase.
