Who Are We ?
People often wonder where it all started and we are here to tell them about it.
We are 'Douches & Poesje' pronounced "Doo - Shyeh - and - Poo - Shyeh" started as a nomadic social experiment By 3 avid pet lovers,
Nina Witten (South Africa), Zoë Turner (Amsterdam) and Carl Sim (South Africa) located in Muizenberg, Cape Town, South Africa.
Our desires were sparked after Zoë's beloved pet, whom had been somewhat a rock to our friendship bond had passed on due to horrific accidental causes during the 2021 covid pandemic which sparked an outcry to create a brand in comfort of great memories shared with an animal.
The venture took off with nothing but scrap materials and saliva dripping enthusiasm to initiate but looking back 3 years we are sure anyone would be proud of the progress it took to layout a product which speaks to its customers.
With various skillsets, it was evident that our ideas could materialise into a product which can satisfy the life span of each pet owners pratical and aesthetic desire.
Our aim is stress reduction in animals allowing better behaviours.
We seek to introduce products which continue to evolve with the requirements of changing seasons.
Our passion goes beyond the affinity for Dogs & Cats and we look to translate that to our business.
